The term "coalition" is the denotation for a group formed when two or more people, factions, states, political parties, militaries etc. agree to work together temporarily in a partnership to achieve a common goal.

The word coalition connotes a coming together to achieve a goal.

​

Coalitions generally occur as an unplanned reply to situations of danger, uncertainty, or supernatural events they are also non-permanent integrations directed at interim objectives.

In terms of participation coalitions are, by their nature, more of a "come as you are, wear what you want, leave when you want party".

The Arkansas Lyme Coalition is not a profit organization.

Vector-borne Illness groups and Individual Advocates across the state of Arkansas have simply agreed to join forces in a forum where all efforts can be shared, and strength in numbers can be found.

 

The Arkansas Lyme Coalition's actions are decided by Board Members, who all have equal vote. 

All members will be able to post their events and share their information on our social media sites.
