You are not alone. Vector-borne Diseases in Arkansas have become endemic. Our medical professionals lack proper training. Our leaders ignore the latest research. Our residents are misdiagnosed. Our state is suffering. ​ TOGETHER, WE MUST BE THE CHANGE.

WHY SAVE THE TICK? ​Any tick can transmit a disease. It doesn't matter how big it is, or how long it has been attached. ​ Tick testing is reliable, affordable, and fast. ​ Tick-borne disease testing for humans (especially Lyme Disease) is unreliable, expensive, and it can take weeks for results. ​ By saving and testing individual ticks, we are able to detect whether the tick itself carries the certain pathogens, helping with early detection and proactive treatment regimen.

Arkansas is considered a very high risk for Tickborne Illness. Some tickborne illnesses (such as Lyme Disease) are often misdiagnosed, underdiagnosed and denied by our Medical Community. Proper treatment is near impossible to find in state. Therefore, we are here to help.

A movement for change. Empowering Arkansans with a voice for Lyme Disease and Tickborne Illness in our state. This movement will increase awareness among the public, media, medical establishment, and most importantly, the policy makers who have the power to reform the system that shapes our state's policy on Lyme disease.

PURPOSE: Lyme.Rocks is an Arkansas based Lyme Disease Awareness Project started in 2018 in hopes of spreading education and awareness about the dangers of Lyme Disease - especially in the South.
