SaveTheTick.com was born in June 2018.
We were consistently seeing the words "save the tick!" on social media.

When people find an embedded tick, panic sets in.
What do I do with it? SAVE IT!
(Although we all want to set the little devil on fire).
Finding a Doctor who is qualified to test and treat tick-borne illness can be tricky - and often many months pass before you can even find one... so we feel testing the actual tick first for pathogens is one of the best answers to early detection and treatment.

There are so many questions about how to preserve the tick, where to send it, costs, return time, etc..
So as an awareness outreach project of Arkansas Bytes Back, we are offering these resources to the public all in one place - on an easy to remember website: SaveTheTick.com.
